This publication will introduce you the current global navigation satellite systems, their history and current status. The book contains information about systems GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou/Compass and Doris.
The aim of this book is to give you the complex view of the present global navigation satellite systems, which are in operation and which are actively used by the military and civilian sector. This book is not describing the problematics very deep, but it offers useful amount of information about for study of this problematics. It can be sufficient guide for orientation in the area of global navigation satellite systems.
The original title in Slovak language is “Informačné systémy v riadení letovej prevádzky”. This is a short publication (40 pages of text, 16 pages of images) about the information systems in the air traffic control as the part of wider air traffic management. Book will introduce you the main information systems, you will find here useful explanations of the information and data processing techniques and systems. Publication is recommended as the additional study material for students or enthusiasts of aviation and aerospace.
